The vision of the Kuilai Creative Centre is to connect the beneficial influence of Aurovilian philosophy and activities with the Tamil Culture so that the Centre can be a place where the two cultures integrate.

Our history is...
Kuilai Creative Centre has been created for the people of Kuilappalayam, in Auroville’s Bio-region, to come together and spend their valuable leisure time, playfully, creatively and educationally, developing and acquiring skills outside their work and/or their studies.
KCC students are provided educational support and a safe place to study and concentrate on their school work through our Evening Tuition Program. By providing a variety of creative, educational and cultural activities in a safe environment, we bring change to the lives of the people of Kuilappalayam, while having fun together.
The daily task of the Volunteering teacher depends on their own committed activity in the Centre, such as helping with Desktop activities, preparing & arranging materials & supplies, supporting indoor and outdoor works.
Can also help in technical & hardware works.

Goal and Expected outcomes of volunteering at KCC
To collaborate in the development of Kuilai Creative Centre with skills to support existing activities or bring in their expertise to initiate new programs which are in line with our goals.
Additionally, they can create sources, guide and support for fund-raising.
The Volunteer should commit and show their involvement with a broad-mind, without any hesitations.
